What does a guitar of High action mean, and whats the difference between steel strings and nylon strings, and what usually comes on an acoustic guitar? And how do i determine which size guitar i get? And if there is a specific guitar you suggest for a beginner would you please let me know.

I am going to buy a guitar soon, but wanted some input not fueled by a college student on commission at the guitar store
I am going to Africa next year, but in the meantime I will be playing guitar at church and other venues…so I want a good guitar that will be “small enough” to take overseas. Any recommendations for size or quality? I have looked into Taylor and Fender but am still shopping.

I’ve got an Ibanez dreadnought acoustic guitar and its time to change the strings, but I’m not into the strings I previously had; which were too tightly wound and hard on the fingers. What type of acoustic strings are medium gage, have a good, full sound, and aren’t very expensive? Thanks!

I’ve been messing around with a guitar and learning tabs for about 2 years, but never really actually learned how to play. Now I want my first serious guitar. I kinda want a guitar that I could take to shows and stuff once I get good enough.
