Is it easy to learn the guitar if you have had previous experience with the keyboard?

I am thinking about taking guitar lessons and I am wondering if there are any similarities between it and the keyboard.
I have played the piano for about 5 years, so i have no problem with reading sheet music. However I don’t know how to read guitar tabs so I was wondering if it is hard to learn in comparison with the piano.
What is an easy guitar solo to learn for a beginner?

I have owned guitars for years and my dad was in a band but I haven’t really learned any actual songs on the guitar. My dad has tried teaching me but because my parents split and I live quite far away I rarely see him. I don’t want lessons because I don’t like the idea of a set time so I would like to teach myself. Is there an easy solo I could learn?

A guitar thats an acoustic and electric guitar at the same time?

Is there a guitar that is a normal acoustic guitar when played without an amp, but when it’s plugged into an amp can play like an electric guitar? If there is such a thing whats the name and highest and lowest estimated price for it? Thanks so much guys.

How to get “guitar rig” software to work with my electric guitar?

I tried plugging in my guitar directly to the line in or mic inputs on my soundcard, and although I get static from my speakers and some change is showing on guitar rigs equilizers, I don’t get any sound while playing my guitar. I use onboard soundcard, but it is recognized by “guitar rig” software and have asio4all drivers. What am I doing wrong?
I don’t think it is the weak signal, because I got guitar sounding on my speaker, but “guitar rig” software is not recognizing it, so I can’t do any changes to its sound.
What kind of guitar would you recommend to a beginner?

I’m going to start taking guitar lessons and I was wondering which guitar I should buy. Is there really that big of a difference between the 100 cheap “value pack” and the $500 guitar? Does it make that big of a difference when you are just starting to learn to play? Should I buy the “beginner pack” then buy the better guitar when I learn what I’m doing or will I be better forking over the cash for the better guitar up front?
What is the difference between a short scale and a regular guitar?

I really want a daisy rock guitar I’m a beginner so Idon’t know much about guitars. One thing Ive noticed is that on the description of the daisy rock guitars like the one that are shaped like hearts and star they say short scale guitar and I don’t know what that means. P.S I’m 14.
