How hard is learning guitar compared to other instruments?

I tried to teach myself guitar once before without much luck… I wasn’t terribly dedicated though. I learned to play piano on my own quickly and easily, and I can already play sax and flute very well (albeit, I took band for years to lean to really master both of those). If I really buckled down and forced myself to practice, should I be able to play in a relatively short period of time (a year or so)? Is guitar one of the harder instruments for most people to learn?
What electric guitar is good for a person with big fingers?

I just started playing a Yamaha Pacifica 112. My tutor mentioned that my hands seem too large for this guitar. Are there any guitars that have more space in their frets so my fingers will fit better?

I have heard that you have to play on acoustic guitar first and then go on to an electric guitar.But i really want to play on a electric guitar because i like the sound of it more.I am planning on taking lessons so i wont be teaching myself.So is it going to be very hard for me to play on a electric guitar because i have never played on a acoustic??

I want to know where and how to get all the guitars and asscessories. do the guitar makers sponser me or do i get a discount with an order. Is there some special way to become a guitar dealer. I have a huge passion for guitars. I love them. i love to work on detail and collect guitars so i would really love to start my own store. so that i can have passion in my job.

Because I’ve been putting off guitar lessons for this very reason. I fear I may lose some of my “touch” for piano if I do condition my fingers to play guitar. Am I nuts or is there actually a right or wrong way of doing it or whatever? Any suggestions would be helpful!!!

Theres this pawn shop that has some cool looking guitars, and sell them cheaply, but since its my first time picking up a guitar, I dont know how to tell if its a good guitar.
